Just read all of your blog. I was very impressed you went to visit my hometown Zamboanga City. Even native born Filipinos from central and northern Philippines will not visit Zaboanga City for fear of the unrest. I chanced to look Silsilah up because, I have a new pastor (United Methodist) who is involved with interfaith dialogue here in Jackson, MS. I wanted to share with him what Silsilah was doing in Zamboanga City. I am a 63 year old native Zamboanguena. This November I will return to Zamboanga to take care of my 98 year old mom, continue a reforestation ministry and facilitate Bible studies in different churches. I enjoyed reading your blog.
